![]() Hi Dave, Thank you very much for your detail advice! It is very helpful. I don't use a diopter on my Ms so I can't say how it would interact with a magnifier. Note that these comments apply to M cameras with 0.68–0.73x VF magnification. The 1.4x pushes the 50mm framelines out of view (for me, a glasses wearer, anyway). With the 135mm it's helpful at all non-infinity distances and essential below 4m or so.Ī 1.25x magnifier would be very useful with a 50mm Noctilux or 3rd party equivalent too. Sony RX100 VI Sony a7R III Leica M10-R Leica Elmarit-M 28mm f/2.8 ASPH Leica Summicron-M 35mm f/2 ASPH +4 more. USB-C Port - I don’t use USB to charge or transfer photo. With the 90mm the magnifier comes into play mostly at close distances and wide apertures. 110g Lighter (Black Model) - I bought the Leica is because I like the weight. I have a 1.4x that I've used on my M9-P with a 90/2 'Cron and 135/4 Tele-Elmar. In my experience VF magnifiers are useful mainly with 90 & 135mm lenses, plus fast 50s. ![]() I want to know what is the benefit of adding magnifier to the finder? If I am using 28mm, 35mm and 50mm will magnifier help precise focusing easier? Also does it work with the diopter/correction lens? Or it can replace the diopter / correction lens? I am relatively new to Leica M system and I am using M10-R.
